Wall of Fame

The BAA Wall of Fame exists to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Florida State University Band program. The Wall of Fame is permanently affixed in the FSU School of Music. It is currently located in the Band Rehearsal Hall of the Housewright Music Building on the FSU campus in Tallahassee. A central focus on the wall is a perpetual plaque presenting the criteria for selection and the names and dates of honorees. Additionally, each honoree has their recognition on the Wall of Fame in the form of a standard, customized casing that encloses an 8" x 10" black and white photograph and an 8" x 10" proclamation about the inductee, mounted on the Wall of Fame.

Recipients of the Wall of Fame must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Have made a significant contribution to bands or band music
  • Have made a significant contribution to the Band Alumni Association
  • Have attained significant accomplishments or made significant contributions in their chosen field which reflect positively on FSU and its band program.

Nominations for the Wall of Fame must by received prior to the date set by the board. Those nominees approved by the Board shall be presented to the membership as candidates for the Wall of Fame.

Additional information on the nomination process will be available shortly.
