Marching Chiefs March Over Luncheon

MARCH OVER marks the culmination of preseason training for the Marching Chiefs. Following a week of grueling training, prospective members ("rookies") are introduced to Chiefs by presenting a brief show and then watching as the veteran Chiefs "show them how it's done." The BAA funds a catered lunch at Whitcomb Field (Chiefs' Field) following MARCH OVER to foster the camaraderie and sense of family that is the experience of the FSU band program.


Marching Chiefs 2 Year Patch

Embroidered Marching Chiefs patches are awarded by the BAA to 2-year members of the Marching Chiefs at the annual end-of-the-season banquet. This award recognizes the dedication and sacrifice required to participate in Chiefs.


Wall of Fame

The BAA Wall of Fame exists to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Florida State University Band program. Check out the Wall of Fame section for additional information, criteria and a recipient list.


"There's a Band for You at FSU" CD

This CD contains a sample of the numerous bands at FSU recorded live in concert. The CD is used as a recruiting tool to provide a good overview of the music program.
