Some info about the Band Alumni Assocation
What started as a few close friends wanting to relive their time at FSU has emerged into one of the premiere band alumni associations in the nation. Over 200 people participate in FSU Homecoming Activities each year. This event is a chance for alumni to relive their glory days.
Today, the BAA has over 2,000 members ranging from recent graduates to the first band members of FSU. The faces and the names may be different but the experience is the same. FSU band alumni share... A PROUD HERITAGE AND A BRIGHT FUTURE.
Frequency of Meetings
There shall be an annual meeting scheduled at homecoming for transacting the business of the organization. If there is no business to transact, the meeting may not be conducted, though reports from the officers and the Chairman of the Board shall be distributed to the membership through established forms of communication.
The Board of Directors shall meet as necessary, but at least once annually prior to the annual business meeting to receive a report from the officers on the affairs of the organization. All meetings of the Board of Directors shall be open to any interested FSU BAA member.
